Life naturally revolves around the sea in Marseille, with the Mediterranean on its doorstep and optimal sailing conditions. A combination of factors – the quality of the sailing area, a relatively constant wind, the orientation of the coastline relative to prevailing winds, as well as the absence of tides and currents – guarantees ideal tactical and strategic conditions for the competitors. The prime location of this existing venue will enable thousands of spectators to watch the action.
