The Legacy and Sustainability plan for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games — 126 Using the Games to go further – the Interministerial Delegate for the Olympic and Paralympic Games (DIJOP) and French Ministry of Sport Through the Interministerial Delegate for the Olympic and Paralympic MINISTÈRE Games (DIJOP) and the French Ministry of Sport, the French State presented DE L’ÉDUCATION NATIONALE, DE LA JEUNESSE its legacy plan for the Paris 2024 Games in November 2019. The plan is built ET DES SPORTS around six major themes: encouraging sports participation in France, harnessing innovation and culture to have a global reach, accelerating the environmental transition, nurturing Olympic ambitions, building the infrastructure of the future and getting people involved in the Games. The departmental council’s goal is for the Games to leave a meaningful, lasting and balanced legacy behind for the entire Seine-Saint-Denis area and its inhabitants.
